when he was 14 he got into nightlife and fell in love with the console. soon after he stood out as a dj locally and began to produce his first tracks. at 16, his white label remix of ‘if i ever feel better’ from phoenix had a great underground success. in 2002 he put together jd brothers, an italo dance production team. the year of success was 2007 with the sidekick production project. together christian cheval & net’s work team he first remixed successfully funkerman - speed up (sidekick rmx) , noir - superskunk (sidekick rmx), basto! - savior (sidekick rmx), sex weed - juice string (sidekick rmx)... then, a year later, in march 2008, the first single, 'deep fear' (net's work) of the project was released. deep fear was immediately rercognised as one of the most played tracks in the last decade of international dance music. it became n.1 in every world recognised dance hit parade and is now seen as an ever green. it’s still being played in festivals, clubs and by notorious dj’s such as david guetta, swedish house mafia, roger sanchez, bob sinclar, afrojack, tiesto, alex gaudino, deadamau5, fedde le grand, sasha, carl cox, benny benassi, joachim garraud, erik morillo and many more. after the success of a new style, with sidekick - deep fear, gio di leva followed on with several signature-personal projects including the outstanding tocadisco remix (the small). kick the small was followed by gaya (adiemus) which climbed the ladder within weeks of its release and was played at festivals such as white sensation & tomorrowland. summer 2010 saw gio di leva together with top dj marcos carnaval produce yet another hit like deep fear, this time using a purely brasilian sample: do pai which again went straight to all the european dance radio stations arriving at the top layer of the main italian and portuguese hit parades.
october 2010 sees the release of two new projects: here we go, a house tune with an unbelievably catchy vocal and another new project: twinblood - once again an electro house project with rap vocals that grab you by the neck. on the dj guest front gio di leva has made his way up the ladder with appearences in portugal, greece, brasil, frace, tunisy, turkey, usa, germany, uk, spain, arab emirates, cyprus, danemark, ibiza, playing in clubs such as: pacha - ofir, pacha - buzios, the week - rio de janeiro, cavo paradiso - mykonos, super paradise - mykonos, room - athens, queens - lisbona, sagamore vip - miami, famous club - ankara, sky center - dubai, le chanzon - paris, music hall - bcn. as if that wasn’t enough he has also played in mykonos at the super paradise and in brasil at pacha - buzios. he ha salso played at festivals such as: tmn moche - portugal with hrdwell, christian sims, jhon revox - a festival that brought him a nomination for best dj set in 2010 (portugal) by the n1 portuguese radio (radio nova era), - madeira summer festival with d.o.n.s., koge beach party con axwell, sebastian ingrosso, steve angello, afrojack, rune rk. because music needs a superhero

  ABOUT GIO DI LEVA

Giuseppe Esposito - known behind the mixer as Gio Di Leva - was born in '84 in Sorrento, near Naples where he still resides. He's always had a passion for music, ever since he taught himself to play drums in a small pop group as a teenager.

When he was 14 he got into nightlife and fell in love with the console. Soon after he stood out as a DJ locally and began to produce his first tracks. At 16, his white label remix of ‘If I Ever Feel Better’ from Phoenix had a great underground success. In 2002 he put together Jd Brothers, an italo dance production team. The year of success was 2007 with the Sidekick Production project. On the DJ guest front Gio Di Leva has made his way up the ladder with appearences in Portugal, Greece, Brasil, Frace, Tunisy, Turkey, USA, Germany, UK, Spain, Arab Emirates, Cyprus, Danemark, Ibiza, playing in clubs such as: PACHA - OFIR, PACHA - BUZIOS, THE WEEK - RIO DE JANEIRO, CAVO PARADISO - MYKONOS, SUPER PARADISE - MYKONOS, ROOM - ATHENS, QUEENS - LISBONA, SAGAMORE VIP - MIAMI, FAMOUS CLUB - ANKARA, SKY CENTER - DUBAI, LE CHANZON - PARIS, MUSIC HALL - BCN. As if that wasn’t enough he has also played in Mykonos at the Super Paradise and in Brasil at Pacha - Buzios.
