Há aplicações que 'falam' nas suas costas. 9% das apps descarregadas na Google Play interagem com sites que podem comprometer a sua segurança e privacidade. As conclusões vêm da Universidade da Califórnia. « As one of the first studies to analyze behind-the-scenes behaviors of good applications, the researchers conducted a large-scale analysis of URLs embedded in 13,500 free android apps downloaded from Google Play. The apps tested were created by reputable developers and downloaded by many people, among them popular social media, shopping, news and entertainment apps » (Cellular News). A prevenção é o melhor remédio.
O excesso de televisão e a falta de exercício afectam negativamente o cérebro. Estes maus hábitos estão ligados a funções cognitivas pobres. Quanto mais cedo forem adoptados, pior: « In particular, couch potatoes had slightly lower brain processing speeds and worse executive function, but they scored just as well as other participants on verbal memory tests. The findings, reported in JAMA Psychiatry, may suggest that such bad TV and exercise habits early in life could set people up for faster cognitive decline in later life, the authors said » (Beth Mole, ArsTechnica).

Researchers predict that creative jobs are better suited to humans, while robots will be better at repetitive tasks. The report concludes that, in Japan, up to 49 percent of jobs could be automated. A publicidade televisiva aumenta as instalações de apps. Fazer publicidade na TV pode aumentar o número de instalações em 74%, de acordo com a Fetch.
