Ref. 2006107 – RAMS Engineer Deadline for application: April 2006 Date of availability: April 2006 Contact: jobs@criticalsoftware.com Description Critical Software, a software engineering company with a strong presence in the international markets and high growth profile looks for a Software RAMS Engineer to work in Coimbra (Portugal) and/or United Kingdom. The candidate must be able to work independently, be autonomous, with minimal supervision. Responsibilities The RAMS engineer will be responsible for performing the RAMS and Safety analysis. These analysis include SFMECA, HSIA, SFTA, SCCFA, Software DAL (Development Assurance Level) reduction among others. The RAMS engineer shall be able to write and complete the SCAR (Software Criticality Analysis Report) containing the results of all the RAMS activities. Finally, the RAMS engineer shall support the internal Dependability manager and the customer.   Qualifications and Experience   Engineering academic degree or relevant professional experience Knowledge in C/C++; Knowledge in Ada is also an advantage; Know how about formal methods of verification (RAMS and Dependability of critical systems) is a must; Knowledge about ground control systems is an advantage. Good documentation skills and master of the English language. At least 2 years of experience in computer engineering and product assurance is required.
