Location: ESRIN (Rome, Italy)

Qualifications and Experience 

a) Experience and familiarity with Grid technology and middleware (EDG, Globus) components (grid-ftp, GIS, MDS, Replica catalogue, CA, etc) and concepts (e.g. Grid security);

b) Technical background in the Earth Observation domain, data, applications and services;

c) Solid knowledge of Linux operating system and experience in operation coordination of large system infrastructures;

d) Ability to generate high-level, clear and concise system performance figures and reports;

e) Knowledge of W3C and OGC standards, Java, JSP, XML, HTML, Web Services, applets and related tools.
